Chicagoland Football League |
Semi-Professional Football has long been a part of Chicago, developing out of local high school rivalries in the 1930's. Players wanting to still compete against their rivals after graduating organized games in parks drawing crowds of local residents. The tradition and league continues today. |
| The Chicagoland Football League is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1981. The league contains 7 teams all through out the Chicagoland area. The players come from all walks of life. They are diverse in race, ethnicity and economic backgrounds. Some of them played ball at top ranked universities, some are high school stars that didn't receive that chance, and some are professionals. Yet, they all come together in celebration of American Football, and a chance at reaching that dream of playing in the NFL. |
Mission Statement |
| Our objective is to offer an opportunity to participate in a organization helping youth , building strength in Chicago communities , offering affordable family entertainment and providing an opportunity for athletic competition to fulfill the dream of playing professional football. |
