Josh McCown was named the NFC’s Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Monday night’s win over the Cowboys.
In the 45-28 victory, McCown completed 27-of-36 passes for 348 yards and four touchdowns, good for a passer rating of 141.9.
McCown also had three carries for 16 yards, including a 7-yard touchdown run. He is the only Bears player since the 1970 merger with five touchdowns and zero interceptions in a game.
McCown is the Bears’ first Offensive Player of the Week this season. Devin Hester won Special Teams Player of the Week honors in Week Two and Shea McClellin was the Defensive Player of the Week in Week Nine.
