NFL fines Tillman for horse-collar tackle

Bears cornerback Charles Tillman was fined $15,750 for his horse-collar tackle from last Sunday’s win over the Vikings, the NFL confirmed.

Tillman was penalized for his tackle on Vikings wideout Greg Jennings following a 22-yard catch-and-run at the start of the fourth quarter.

Jennings ran down the sideline and Tillman grabbed Jennings near the right shoulder pad from behind to drag him down. Here’s an image of the end of the tackle. Tillman can appeal the fine.
